The Proud Wellness Professional Verification Policy

We verify our directory members on their profile pages with a green star. This means they have met our professional criteria for membership.

In order for any wellness professional to be listed on our directory, they must provide us with proof of the following:

·         Relevant professional qualification.

·         Insurance cover.

·         Proof of identity.

·         Minimum of 20 hours CPD in the discipline and practice of LGBTQIA+ equality and inclusion.

Directory members are responsible for informing us of any changes to their qualifications, professional body memberships or insurance cover.

Working with a Proud Wellness Directory member

We recommend that before using the services of any of the professionals listed in our directory you ensure you’ve made your own, independent enquiries to check the services on offer meet your needs.

If you are entering into a coaching or therapy based relationship with one of our Directory professionals we recommend you first arrange an introductory call to ensure you are a good fit for each other, and that they can provide the help and support you’re seeking.
